Hilchos Lashon Hara, Opening – positive commands (11)

Whoever speaks lashon hara breaks the positive commandment (Devarim 10:20), "Fear the L-rd your G-d." This tells us to know that Hashem always sees what we do and punishes according to how serious our actions are. Whoever gives himself over to the sin of lashon hara has surely neglected this positive commandment.
