Illustrations paragraph 4
A person sees that someone wants to make a shidduch (marriage match) with a certain family. He knows that the groom has very serious faults. The bride's father does not know anything about this, and if he knew, he would not agree to the match. He must tell him.
But he should know that there are many details here, and we will explain them below. He must pay attention to all of them before he allows himself to do this. He also should not learn a leniency from one case and apply it to another.
Before we start explaining this law in all its details, we will explain the common stumbling blocks here. Even though there is no real need to write them in the book, because they are very simple, we will explain them because of the great damage that is common in this area.
